Bled is located at the foot of the Julian Alps and at the confluence of the two sources of the Sava river. Bled is accessible through a number of different routes.

By plane

There are a few airports in the vicinity, which enable good connections to Europe and beyond. Ljubljana (LJU), Trieste (TRS), Venice (VCE), Klagenfurt (KLU) and Treviso (TSF)  airports are all close by. For travelling from and to airports, we suggest shuttle service. By private taxi / shared transfer with other attendants of ADBIS conference

From anywhere close to Bled (e.g. close by airports and train stations etc.) you can reserve a shared transport with other conference attendants. You can reserve a shared transport / private taxi at: http://www.bledtours.si/conference-transfer-order/adbis-2019-bled. This is a site for ADBIS attendants. The more attendants reserve the transport via this page, the lower the price for each participant will be. You can also book a private taxi over this site. For a private taxi select VIP TAXI TRANSFERS and either a taxi or a minibus. The price stated is for the whole taxi. If you select shared shuttle transfer, then the price of a taxi or a minibus will be divided among all the persons taking the taxi / minibus.The taxi will take you to Bled to your hotel (the hotel should be within a walking distance of Hotel Park).

By train

Bled has two train stations, but unfortunately neither is located in the centre of town. Over 20 trains a day go from Ljubljana to the Lesce-Bled station which is on the main line, but is 4km away. From here you can catch a bus or taxi / shared transport to the Hotel. By bus

There is also a possibility to travel to Bled (or Ljubljana) by bus. FlixBus operates regular lines on this route.

By car

The central location of Slovenia enables easy access by car from a number of different European countries. Within 500 km radius lie the capitals of Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Czech Republic, Italy, Serbia and Slovak Republic.
